1988 Grand Banks 42 Classic Trawler

A 1988 Grand Banks classic with numerous recent upgrades done by our service yard during the winter and spring. Aurora has recently undergone a number of improvement projects such as new aluminum fuel tanks with epoxy coating, windows painted with epoxy and Awlgrip. The interior is in excellent condition with nice upholstery and a fixed helm seat. The exterior has been compounded and polished this season. Also, boat has had bottom stripped and painted with barrier coat and appropriate over coatings.

Traditional GB 42 forward and aft private cabins with heads, showers, storage including large hanging lockers, dressers, drawers under berths for clothes, charts, etc. Queen berth to starboard, custom desk and large vanity to port.


Comfortable L-Shaped settee with flip up teak table. Forward is cabinet with icemaker. On port side is short settee with built in corner freezer. Forward of the settee is opening door between settee and galley. To starboard forward is fixed helmseat with opening door beside. Curtains for windows.


The L-shaped Galley is forward and to port, featuring Corian counter tops and stainless steel sink. Under the counter extension is a Grunnert cold plate refrigerator with custom SS liner. There is a dish cabinet mounted above the counter at the aft end with built in microwave. There is a 3 burner Princess Stove with oven at the forward end of the galley. Under the sink is a cabinet and under the oven is a drawer for storing pots and pans. A flip out trash container is neatly tucked away across the companionway for the fwd stateroom.
