Albin 28 Custom Work
A few years ago we were the Chesapeake Bay Albin dealer. During our time selling these boats we developed several enhancements that really set the Albin 28 above the norm. We did not have fishing in mind, we had a vision of one of the best little cruising boats for the Chesapeake Bay. We wanted a head turner and a happy customer! The two items that set this boat apart were the custom Albin mast and a nice visor to extend the protection of the helm area. Below are some pictures of these customizations.
As you can see, we have a proclivity to favor dark colors, usually Hunter Green or Navy Blue, which look striking on an Albin 28. We have painted Albins in our Awlgrip department if you too would like to stand out from the crowd.
Although these enhancements were made on Albins, we could, of course, fabricate and install a mast or visor on just about any small cruising boat.
