In Our Yard
Interested in removing old paint from your bottom? We are tackling a couple in the yard!
In our reading room... In the fall we had a Fleming 55 in our service yard preparing for a voyage to the west coast. We have added the cruising tale to date in our reading room.
Market Conditions Our success in 2007 was based on educating our sellers about the importance of offering the best boat in a slow market. Boats that are properly maintained, show better and attract higher offers despite prevailing market condtions. OYA offers the ability to bring a boat to top condition and keep it that way because our boats for sale for the most part are kept inside during inclement weather and are not constantly physically depreciated each day by sun and wind and Dickerson Harbor is located in near fresh water so the effects of salt are nil.
Broker's Corner Following the success of our yard's daily blog, we have decided to add a new section - a blog if you will - for our boat sales department. Here you will find our assessments of the boats we have for sale - what we like, what we don't like and more interesting information that doesn't show up in our listings. Also, you will find from time to time tips on buying and selling your boats and how we can help with that. Check it out!
GB46 Gets a Hard Top For daily progress, check out our daily Blog.
New Features We have been adding more information to our Service Log section which includes maintenance tips, infomation about products, tips on buying and selling boats and other helpful facts. Check it out. The Dickerson Yard Blog has been set up to show a bit of the daily workings of our yacht service department. Updated (almost) daily!
