1986 Grand Banks 42 Classic Trawler

Constructed by American Marine(s) PTE LTD (Grand Banks), manufactured via female molds of solid fiberglass, no core in structural components, bottom or superstructure. Some plywood was used to ensure the deck screws have a proper fit. Fiberglass is in excellent condition as are teak decks, window framees, teak trim, rails, etc.

Displacement: 35,000 lbs. 600 gallon fuel in 2 tanks in excellent condition. Fuel system is protected by a professional fuel polishing system with separate pump, filtration systems. Water 280 gallons in 3 aluminum tanks - aft feed via a 3/4" pvc Jabsco series 5 Multispeed 12V pump with full boat filter and accumulator tank, pump filter, custom installation 2013.

The 2 CAT 3208 300HP V8 marine engines, Twin Disc transmissions, 29" propellors provide 2 nautical miles per gallon at 8.5 knots with new batteries 2013. Glendinning engine synchronizer, engine room blowers, 8Kw Westerbeke generator serviced 2013. 3 Marine Air Conditioners w/digital controls recent installations, Grunert 2 box holding plate - air/water cooled. New icemaker 2013. Halon system in engine room.

The L-shaped Galley is forward and to port, featuring Corian counter tops and stainless steel sink. Under the counter extension is a Grunnert cold plate refrigerator with custom SS liner. There is a dish cabinet mounted above the counter at the aft end with built in Princess. There is a 3 burner electric Princess Stove with oven at the forward end of the galley. Under the sink is a cabinet and under the oven is a drawer for storing pots and pans. A flip out trash container is neatly tucked away across the companionway for the fwd stateroom.
