This is a before and after shot of our latest paint project - a GB 49.
The customer requested a very dark green which we had to custom mix. The result is dramatic.
Awlgrip is a high gloss, durable finish which requires no compounding or waxing. Look at the reflection on the side of this Sabre 36. It's true that a picture says a thousand words!
Eastbays! Eastbays!
In Flag Blue (left) and Jade Green (below).

This F&C 44, Kerstis, is painted in Awlgrip Off White to match original colors. The effect was that the boat looked the same as the day it rolled off of the factory floor!
One of our revival paint jobs on a GB 36 was one of the highlights of our 1996 Spring Rendezvous. Painting an older boat with Awlgrip and making other maintenance enhancements, such as replacing teak moldings with King Starboard trim, makes good financial sense.
A project such as this takes some serious manpower! We have completed an online demonstration of the steps and progression of a major Awlgrip job. Take a look and see how to make your boat look new again. Also we have a copy of the cover of Chesapeake Bay Magazine with our Awlgripped GB 49.
