True Seaworthy ConstructionThe unique triple layer fin construction is one of the most important aspects of this durable Stabilizer. At the center of the fin is a steel plate surrounded by lightweight, but extremely durable structural foam. A strong
polyurethane shell covers the fins to protect them from underwater obstacles. The bronze housing and stainless steel shafting of the mechanism provide corrosion resistance, strength, and compatibility with varying hull materials. Industrial grade bearings, control valves and actuators reduce noise and vibration, and improve reliability.
The Wesmar Roll Stabilizer systems are designed for 30 - 120 foot boats. Three fin sizes, 4, 5, 6, and 9 square feet, are available to match almost any vessel. Fin size selection depends on the boat's hull type, displacement, and over-all length.
New model available....the 12 square foot electronic gyro stabilizer is now available. This system has 3.5 inch, stainless steel, spline shaft and will employ a twin cylinder, full proportional hydraulic system. The full sensitivity control at the helm, allows the captain to adjust the fin tracking and speed of deflection making hydraulic gyros ancient in comparison.
Electronic Gyro Update Kits....Most competitive fin systems can be updated using the Wesmar update kit. This will allow you full sensitivity adjustment on an existing fin system by use of the electronic gyro and main console upgrade. The vessel never has to leave the water for the upgrade system.

Bow Thrusters
Wesmar has introduced a new 10 HP high-torque thruster and which they predict will be one of the hottest systems in '98. Also available for '98 is the new DPC-200, a 200 hp in a 24" counter-rotating, dual prop design.These will be added to their ever-increasing thruster line which already includes 16 models including single and double thrust, electric and hydraulic for boats from 20 - 140 feet. Wesmar has been engineering and manufacturing bow thrusters for over a decade. Their thrusters are exceptionally durable and built in their own machine shops, so you are assured of total quality control. Propellers are available in stainless steel and bronze ranging in size from 6 - 20 inches.
